Iran’s ‘Life Gone with the Wind’ to go on Bangladeshi screen

Iran’s ‘Life Gone with the Wind’ is to go on screen at the Int’l Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh.

Iranian short flick ‘Life Gone with the Wind’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the 2021 edition of the International Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh.

Co-directed by Siavash Saed-Panah and Omid Gharibi, the short film tells the story of a senior lady, who sees her life gone with the wind, when she notices a kite flying around and going away.

Asieh Moradizar and Dina Arshadi are on the cast list of ‘Life Gone with the Wind’.

The film has been on screens at some global events and grabbed some awards, including the Special Jury award at the International Pathological Film Festival in Italy and the Best Film Award at the Roshd International Film Festival in Iran.

The International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh is an annual week-long film festival held countrywide, which showcases full-length features, shorts and experimental films made for and by children from around the world.

Launched in 2008, the festival is one of the biggest film events in Bangladesh and also the only international film festival for children and young adults of the country.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for January 30-February 5.
